Failing is natural and happens often. It’s how our attitude to failure is what matters the most.
When striving for a new found healthy lifestyle, many times we end up eating what we shouldn’t or skipping that workout. That stinking thinking doesn’t help anyone. Especially yourself.
This does not mean that the rest of the day has be tossed off as a failure. What it does do to us is challenge ourselves to head back into a positive light.
That can be difficult while our heads are so tied up and invested in failing. Who, what, where and when all are examined over and over in our heads .
Many times when we are in that point of mindset of failure we often feel weak and make poor choices.
While taking up our time it also throws us into an emotional downfall. These downfalls are only a speed bump that need to be recognized and put to a stop.
What are some of the ways that we can switch our attitudes and point of view?
For me there are several different ways I switch my frustrations off.
SUP time, Stand Up Paddle Board, I get a great workout, I’m playing on the water and I gain balance while I’m in my happy place.
Meditation is a great way to get a new outlook. Quick and easily accessible and able to listen while working, driving, just about any where.
If I have the time, I will workout. Exercise always changes a bad attitude into a proactive thinker. Helps reduce stress and build positive vibes.
Another way I unwind and recharge, is steaming. This does take around 1-2 hours off and on. I listen to meditation.
There are many ways to change up our attitude. The one option that is not helpful, is that stinking thinking. Let it go! Release it.
